It's always so hard to introduce oneself.
Most of the qualifiers seem weak, like I am a mom, a wife, a friend...The truth is I am all of these, but it explains nothing about me...
I am...professionally, a Montessori teacher; secretly, torn between being a minimalist and a hoarder; a wannabe jogger and fitness guru hidden inside the body of a woman who will likely always be just a little bit fat; an environmentalist (shouldn't we all be??) but, if my husband ever leaves me it will be because of my Imelda Marcos-esque shoe collection; emotionally unable to cope with the thought of people (especially children) being hurt; a dog lover who (will only EVER own one dog at a time!!) quietly worries every single day about the poor living conditions and treament that, globally, most dogs face; hoping to impart a tiny bit of knowledge to parents about the two things I am admittedly good at: being a mom and being a Montessorian.
